Services offered
We offer a range of services to our patients: medical consultations for dermatological problems, phototherapy booths and access to clinical trials for eligible and voluntary patients.

1
Medical dermatology
Our clinic treats patients with a medical referral for a variety of dermatological problems: mole checks, biopsies, lesion removal, as well as the treatment of acne, psoriasis, eczema and other skin conditions.
Medical consultations and medically necessary procedures, such as biopsies or the removal of lesions of concern, are fully covered by the RAMQ. However, certain procedures, such as the removal of lesions deemed not medically necessary or of a cosmetic nature, are not covered by the RAMQ. In these cases, if you still wish to proceed with the procedure, it will be at your own expense. You will find the complete list of non-covered procedures and their costs under the "Price List" tab on this page.
* We do not accept patients without a medical referral.

Phototherapy
Phototherapy is a treatment method that uses light rays to relieve and treat various skin conditions, such as psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, lichen planus, prurigo nodularis, persistent itching, etc.
We have three narrow-spectrum UVB (NB-UVB) phototherapy booths designed to treat the entire body, as well as a specialized unit for hands and feet. Each session typically lasts a few minutes, depending on the condition being treated and your dermatologist's recommendations.
This service is covered by the RAMQ, but a prior assessment by a dermatologist is required to determine if phototherapy is the appropriate treatment for your condition. To schedule an appointment with a dermatologist for this purpose, you must have a medical referral.
No matter where your dermatologist practices, you can access the phototherapy booths at Dermacentre, as soon as you have a referral for phototherapy in hand.
Our cabins are available Monday to Friday.
